Automatic Kit Relocation
When editing or creating a kit type you can now enable Automatic Kit Relocation for that kit type. This means that you can simply relocate a new kit into a cart and, if that kit puts the drawer over par level* (see the end of this document for more info), the system will automatically move the old kit, that is being replaced, to either a predefined destination or a destination of your choosing at the time of relocation. Here you can see the error that would pop up on the previous version if you tried moving a kit into a drawer that was at par level.
To turn this feature on if you start from the Stat Stock home page, you will click on "Kits" in the green ribbon on the top of the page.
Then click on "Kit Type".
After this, click the three dots next to the kit you want to edit and click "edit" in the dropdown.
You will scroll down, just a little, and find the toggles under the "Automatic Kit Relocation" section.
You have different options with this depending on what your preferences are. With the toggle "Allow for relocation of kits above designated par level" on, you must put a target destination. This means whenever a kit is automatically relocated it will go to a desired location (typically the pharmacy).
When relocating with only the first toggle and a target destination, it will look like this.
When both toggles are on you will be prompted where to send the kit being moved when you do the relocation. With both toggles on you will be prompted where the kit will go when you relocate it, and it will look something like this.
You might be wondering "But Stat Stock Team, what if the par level for the drawer is more than one, how will the system know which kit to move automatically!?" That is a great question and we covered that for you! When there is more than one kit you will be able to select which kit you will be automatically relocating. You can see an example of what this looks like below.
When both toggles are on you will be prompted where to send the kit being moved when you do the relocation. With both toggles on you will be prompted where the kit will go when you relocate it, and it will look something like this.
In practice this will happen when relocating. To relocate if you start from the Stat Stock home page, you click on the charcoal colored button that says "relocate".
From there you will put in the kit or cart you are relocating. Then you will put in the destination underneath it. Then press "Relocate"
When you press relocate, the automatic Kit relocation panel will pop out and you will be able to follow the instructions shown above to automatically relocate your kit!
Par Level Explanation
The Par Level for a drawer refers to the amount of kits that are allowed to be in that drawer. Par levels have a minimum and a maximum. So, the par level can be a range (i.e. 1-2 kits) or a fixed number (i.e. there must be 1 kit). This number is chosen by you and you can edit it. To get there you will start by clicking on "Carts" in the green ribbon at the top of the page.
From here click on "Cart Types" in the left hand column.
Next you will Click "edit" in the 3 dot dropdown menu of the cart type you want to edit the par level of
Then click on the name of the drawer you would like to edit
A pannel will pop out on the right side of your screen and you will be able to see the par level of that drawer and adjust it as you would like
