Auto-fill Lot

Here at Stat Stock, we aim for efficiency and accuracy for your hospital when adding items. Our auto-fill feature enhances this by suggesting lot numbers as you type and automatically filling in the expiration date. This is based on previously approved items' lot numbers and expiration dates in your inventory, offering a streamlined and quick input process. You can see how to do this below:

1. Create an item and fill in the formulary item.

2. Begin typing the lot of the item. A dropdown will appear with the complete lot for your item (if an item with the same lot is already approved in your system.

3. If a lot number matching the characters you’ve typed exists in your inventory, it will appear in a dropdown. Select the correct lot, and the expiration date will automatically populate.

It’s crucial to ensure the accuracy of the selected lot number, as similar lots may have the same initial characters. This will save time and help make make sure that the correct lot and expiration are entered into your Stat Stock system!
