Environment Policies and Resolutions
Environment Policies
To manage your Environment Policies or create new ones, begin by clicking the gear icon located at the top right corner of the Stat Temp website and selecting 'Environment Policies'.
You cannot delete system Environment Policies, however, you can clone them or create your own. The system's Environment policies are:

Create a new Environment Policy:
- Click on 'Create Environment Policy' at the top of the Environment Policies page.
- In the 'Create Environment Policy' panel, enter the environment policy's name.
- If the environment policy monitors the temperature, toggle on 'Use Temperature'.
- If the environment policy monitors warning ranges, toggle on 'Use temperature warning range'.
- Fill in the required ranges
- If the environment policy monitors humidity, toggle on 'Use Humidity'.
- If the environment policy monitors warning ranges, toggle on 'Use humidity warning range'.
- Fill in the required ranges
Edit an Environment Policy:
You cannot edit a system Environment Policy. If you need to make changes to a system environment policy, first clone that policy then you can make changes. Below are the steps to edit a cloned or custom environment policy.
- Click on the three-dot icon ( ⋮ ) next to the Environment Policy you'd like to edit.
- Click 'Edit'.
- In the 'Edit Environment Policy' panel, you can change the name of the policy and the parameters it is monitoring.
- Click 'Save' on the bottom right once the required changes have been made.
Clone Environment Policy:
- Click on the three-dot icon ( ⋮ ) next to the Environment Policy you'd like to edit.
- Click 'Clone'.
- In the 'Create Environment Policy' panel, enter the environment policy's name.
- If the environment policy monitors the temperature, toggle on 'Use Temperature'.
- If the environment policy monitors warning ranges, toggle on 'Use temperature warning range'.
- Fill in the required ranges
- If the environment policy monitors humidity, toggle on 'Use Humidity'.
- If the environment policy monitors warning ranges, toggle on 'Use humidity warning range'.
- Fill in the required ranges
- Once the required information has been filled out for the new cloned environment policy, click 'Yes, Clone' on the bottom right.
Delete an Environment Policy:
- Click on the three-dot icon ( ⋮ ) next to the environment policy you'd like to remove and click 'Remove'. OR
- Click the box next to each environment policy you wish to remove and click 'Delete selected environment policy' at the bottom right.
- In the pop-up, type 'DELETE' to confirm, then select 'Yes, Delete'.
Assign an Environment Policy:
- Click on the three-dot icon ( ⋮ ) next to the sensor you want to update.
- Click 'Edit'.
- In the 'Edit Sensor' panel, scroll to the Environment Details section.
- Select the environment policy you wish to assign from the dropdown list.
- Click 'Save' on the bottom right to apply the changes.
Resolutions
To manage your Resolutions or create new ones, begin by clicking the gear icon located at the top right corner of the Stat Temp website and selecting 'Resolutions'.

Create a new Resolution:
- Click on 'Create Resolution' at the top of the Resolutions page.
- In the 'Create Resolution' panel, enter the resolution's name.
- Select 'Yes' under "Requires Detail" if the resolution will require a user to type out details when resolving an event.
Edit a Resolution:
- Click on the three-dot icon ( ⋮ ) next to the Resolution you'd like to edit.
- Click 'Edit'.
- Follow the steps outlined in 'Create Resolution' to adjust the resolution according to your desired changes.
Delete a Resolution:
- Click on the three-dot icon ( ⋮ ) next to the Resolution you'd like to remove and click 'Remove'.
- Click the box next to each Resolution you wish to remove and click 'Delete selected resolution' at the bottom right.
- In the pop-up, type "DELETE" to confirm, then select 'Save'.
