Travel Mode - V3 Only
Travel Mode is designed to keep your Stat Temp monitor active and logging data while disconnected from WiFi. This mode is ideal for transporting temperature-sensitive items or when using the monitor in environments without internet access. While in Travel Mode, the monitor will continue to record sensor readings and store data locally until it reconnects to the network, then it will upload that data.
Activating Travel Mode:
Press and hold the black button to enter travel mode.
OR
- Enter menu mode by simultaneously pressing the black and white buttons.
- Scroll to "Travel Mode" using the white button and confirm the selection with the black button.
- The screen will ask, "Travel mode is OFF, press 'yes' to turn ON". Press the white button to turn on, or press the black button to cancel.
While in Travel Mode:
- The monitor will have travel mode (plane), audible alerts, power, and critical icons.
- The monitor will display the most current reading, along with the time stamp in UTC time.
- The monitor will record readings at 5-minute intervals.
- The sensors will not display their name, but their type.
If your sensor exceeds the thresholds set by the environmental policy:
• The temperatures will invert on the screen.
• If audible alerts are enabled, it will audibly alert.
- To take a current reading, press the white button.
- The device will beep three times.
- It will take up to 2 minutes to get a new temperature.
Deactivating Travel Mode:
Press and hold the black button to leave travel mode.
OR
- Enter menu mode by simultaneously pressing the black and white buttons.
- Scroll to "Travel Mode" using the white button and confirm the selection with the black button.
- The screen will ask, "Travel mode is ON, press 'yes' to turn OFF". Press the white button to turn on, or press the black button to cancel.
The screen will refresh and reconnect to your network. Once it has connected, it will upload any offline readings made during that time.
