The Sensor Show Page
The Sensor Show Page is your central dashboard for viewing, understanding, and managing everything related to a single Stat Temp sensor. From live environmental trends to configuration details and event history, this page brings together all the information you need in one place.
Sensor Information
At the top of the page, you will find key sensor details:
Environment Policy
Shows the policy currently assigned to the sensor. Click to view or review its defined temperature and humidity ranges.
Sensor Serial Number
Unique identifier for your device.
NIST Certification Status
If the sensor is NIST-certified, you will see the expiration date displayed.
Clicking View Certificate allows you to download the current certificate for audit and compliance records.
Notes
Any existing notes related to the sensor will display here.
Current Trends (Default Tab)
This tab displays the live environmental history for the selected sensor.
Graph View
- Defaults to the last 30 days of readings
- Can be changed from 1 hour up to the previous 3 calendar months
- A date picker allows custom ranges
- Optional humidity data (toggle available if humidity monitoring is enabled)

Display shows:
- Daily high and low temperatures
- Environment policy ranges (green = normal, yellow = warning, red = critical)
- Graphs can be printed or saved as a PDF.
Data Summary
Beneath the graph is a daily summary table that displays:
- Average, minimum, and maximum readings
- Total sensor readings per day (data points collected)
This summary table can be exported as:
- CSV
- Excel
Sensor Configuration
This is where you can view your current sensor configuration. With proper permissions, this section is editable.
Environment Details
- Environment policy assignment
- Read frequency settings (normal, warning, critical)
Notifications
- Assign or modify:
- Critical temperature/humidity notification
- Warning temperature/humidity notification
- Missed check-in notifications
- Configure missed check-ins prior to alert (default is 3, adjustable to 10)
Additional Controls
- Maintenance Mode (pause alerts for service or equipment changes)
- Sensor Notes (document activity, issues, or inspection information)
Monitor Configuration
This tab displays all information related to the monitor your sensor is connected to.
Monitor Information
- Monitor name
- Monitor ID
- Connection status (online/offline)
- Signal strength (percentage)
- Data rate (how often the monitor checks in with the network)
Hardware Details
- Model
- Firmware version
- MAC address
- Install (created at) date
Network Configuration
- IP address
- Gateway
- DNS
- Last check-in timestamp
System Status
- Battery level (or “AC Power” if plugged in)
- Memory usage (internal drive space)
- Uptime (how long the monitor has been online)
Events
The Events tab offers a comprehensive history of sensor activity. You can click on any event to view detailed information and take appropriate action, ensuring efficient monitoring and management.
What You Can View
Every event entry includes:
- Event Type (temperature, humidity, or missed check-in)
- Created At (date and time the event began)
- Temperature / Humidity Reading (if applicable)
- Duration (how long the event lasted)
- Status (open, cleared, or closed)
- Acknowledged / Resolved (yes/no)
- Notes (yes/no)
This information helps you quickly understand what happened, when it occurred, and whether someone has already addressed it.
Visual Event Status Indicators
To make event status easier to interpret, each event includes a bell icon that visually represents its current state.
Bell States and What They Mean
-
Solid Bell
An active event that still requires attention
(The condition is ongoing or actions have not yet been completed.)
Outlined Bell (Red or Blue)
The event condition has cleared, but required actions are still pending
(For example, acknowledgment or resolution is still needed.)
Outlined Grey Bell (No Fill)
The event is fully complete
- The condition has cleared
- All required actions (acknowledgment and/or resolution) have been completed
Hover for Details
Hovering over the bell icon or the Status column will display a short explanation of what is still required, such as:
- Cleared but not acknowledged
- Acknowledged but not resolved
- Fully resolved
This allows you to understand the state of an event without opening it.
Filtering & Finding Events
Use the built-in filters to focus on only the records you need:
Filter by Status
See only open events that still need attention, or review closed and cleared events for historical reference.
Filter by Event Type
Narrow the list to specific event categories, such as critical temperature excursions, humidity issues, or network-related missed check-ins.
Exporting Event Data
If you need to share event history or maintain records for compliance, audits, or analysis, you can export the Events table in multiple formats:
- CSV
- Excel
Exports preserve all selected filters and columns, making it easy to generate targeted reports that match your review needs.
