How to Invite New Users
This guide walks you through the steps to invite new users to your Stat Temp site. Whether you're adding team members, supervisors, or external partners, this process ensures they have the right access to view data, receive alerts, and manage devices based on their role.
Invite Users
- Click the gear shift icon at the top right of the Stat Temp website and select Invitations.
- Click 'Invite User' on the top right and fill in the email, user role, and group (if applicable).
- You can invite multiple users if their permissions and groups are the same.
- Once all user information has been entered, click 'Invite' on the bottom right.
- The user will receive an email to provide their contact details, after which they can be added to notifications.
Here is a description of the available user roles. If these roles do not meet your needs, you can customize roles as necessary.
Role | Description |
---|---|
Administrator | Full access to all features and data. By default, admins can see all sensors in all groups. |
Power User | Nearly all admin privileges but cannot modify roles or system settings. |
User | Can manage events, generate reports, and view sensors and monitors. |
View Only | Limited to managing events, generating reports, and viewing the dashboard, with no broader permissions. |
