Contacts
Users vs Contacts
With Stat Temp, users and contacts serve distinct roles that impact how you manage system access and notifications.
Users are individuals with login access to the Stat Temp platform. They are assigned roles that determine their permissions, allowing them to view data, manage sensors, acknowledge events, and generate reports.
Contacts, by contrast, do not have access to the system but can be included in notification chains to receive alerts via email, SMS, or phone. This guide will explain how to manage users and contacts effectively, including how to add, edit, and assign them to groups or notifications. It will also provide an overview of user roles and permissions to help you control access across your organization.
Once a Contact has been created, they can be added to Groups and Notifications.
