Reset WiFi - V3
If there have been changes to the Wi-Fi network, such as a new password, SSID (network name), or network hardware (like a new router), the monitor may need to be reconnected to the updated network. Below are directions on how to reconnect your monitor.
Reset the WiFi:
- Press both buttons on the top of the monitor.
- From the Main Menu, use the white button to scroll down to Connect WiFi Network, then use the black button to select it.
- Your monitor will restart and display the "Let's Connect to WiFi" QR code.
Alternatively, you can use the menu buttons to reset your WiFi
- Turn the device off with the power button
- Press and hold the black and power button
- Release the power button when the first beep is heard, and continue to hold down the black button
- Release the black button once the LED starts flashing blue fast
- Your monitor will restart and display the "Let's Connect to WiFi" QR code.
Connect to WiFi
- Download the app ESP BLE Prov
- iOS - ESP BLE Provisioning
- Android - ESP BLE Provisioning
- Open the ESP BLE Prov app on your phone and tap ‘Provision Device’.
- Grant permissions when prompted:
- Allow camera access to scan the QR code.
- Allow Bluetooth access to pair with the monitor.
- Scan the QR code displayed on your monitor using your phone.
- Tap ‘Pair’ to connect to the monitor via Bluetooth.
- A list of available Wi-Fi networks will appear.
- Select your network and enter the password.
- If your network is hidden or not listed, tap “Join Other Network” to enter the details manually.
- Tap ‘Provision’ to begin the connection process.
Once provisioning is complete, tap ‘OK’.
The monitor will automatically restart and take its first reading.

If you encounter any errors while using the ESP BLE Prov app, please refer to the table below.

App Error - Device could not be scanned. Please try again. | QR code not recognized | Close and reopen the app. If still stuck, perform a pinhole reset. To perform a pinhole reset, insert a paperclip into the top pinhole on the right, push in and release. |
App Error - Failed to get device version information with error: Encryption is insufficient. | QR code cannot be scanned | When this error occurs, it means that the device you are using will no longer work to connect to Wi-Fi. The quickest way to get connected is to download the app to a different device. |
App Error - Security applied for communicating with device does not match configuration setting | QR code cannot be scanned | Delete and reinstall ESP BLE Prov app. If needed, restart the phone: • iOS: Vol up → Vol down → Hold power • Android: Hold power for 20 sec, or Volume up + Power |
